Professional Photography Rates

All professional photography services including commercial, on-location, studio, family or group is based on our standard hourly rate.

One Professional Photographer: fully equipped with Hasselblad or other appropriate professional digital camera, professional flash and Tripod.

Hourly Rate ________________________________$ 150.00 (unlimited # of photos)

½ Day Rate (4 hours)_________________________$ 550.00 (unlimited # of photos)

Day Rate (8 hours)___________________________$1000.00 (unlimited # of photos)

After hours and weekend; per hour ______________$ 200.00 (unlimited # of photos)

On weekends there is a minimum ½ Day Rate charge

 

The services of a second Professional Photographer, product or image stylist or

Photographic assistant are charged at:_______________$80.00 per hour.

 

Portable Studio Lighting_________________$50.00 per location

Portable Studio Backgrounds_____________$50.00 per location

 

All professional photography goes through some postproduction editing and colour management. This is usually included in the hourly rate.

Appropriate high resolution files are usually delivered to the client within a day or two.

Note: Hasselblad files as uncompressed tiff’s are 114mb each. 3fr raw, bmp and jpeg’s available

Advanced Photoshop editing and other manipulation is billed at regular editing rates of $60.00 per hour.

Copyright and Licensed Use of Images

Most clients of Robert Young and Celebrity Photo Studio have many potential needs and uses for the images that we shoot for them. We give our clients unrestricted license to reproduce and use the images in any way they see fit. This includes advertising agencies use of the images for their own promotion and publicity.

The only thing our clients can’t do with these images is sell them as if they were their own property. Robert Young and Celebrity Photo Studio retain copyright under Canadian law and vigorously pursue anyone who uses the images without license.

Stock Photography has many more limits on usage and licensing costs reflect each individual purpose.
